Старина Wrangler с электровилкой? Готовить публику к такому диссонансу Jeep начал загодя, показав прототип еще в начале года. А теперь вместе с концептуальным внедорожником Jeep Grand Wagoneer премьеру справил серийный Jeep Wrangler 4xe. В гамме бренда он составит компанию гибридным кроссоверам Renegade и Compass, но устроен Wrangler иначе.

На этот раз инженеры делают упор отнюдь не на экономичность и снижение уровня вредных выбросов. Как уверяют создатели, на бездорожье новому гибридному внедорожнику нет равных благодаря электромотору, который способен выдавать максимальную тягу уже во время старта, при этом не нарушая тишину природы ревом двигателя внутреннего сгорания.

В основе силовой установки лежат стандартные для Рэнглера агрегаты — двухлитровая бензиновая турбочетверка и восьмиступенчатый «автомат» ZF. Но вместо гидротрансформатора встроен гибридный довесок — «сэндвич» из электромотора и двух сцеплений. Первое расположено между ДВС и электродвигателем: когда оно разомкнуто, Wrangler 4xe может передвигаться на чистой электротяге. Второе сцепление стоит между электромотором и коробкой передач, выполняя привычную функцию. А вдобавок силовой агрегат дополнен стартер-генератором с ременным приводом, который подкручивает коленвал при небольших нагрузках.

Пиковая отдача гибридной силовой установки достигает 380 л.с и 637 Нм, то есть она мощнее двигателя V6 3.6 Pentastar (289 л.с.) и развивает больший крутящий момент, чем трехлитровый турбодизель EcoDiesel (599 Нм). Заряда тяговой батареи емкостью 17 кВт·ч хватает всего на 40 километров пути в электрическом режиме. Гибридная система может работать в режимах Hybrid, Electric и eSave: последний позволяет восполнить заряд батареи во время движения для последующего броска на чистом электричестве.

Важно, что подзаряжаемый Jeep Wrangler 4xe сохранил главные атрибуты базовой модели — неразрезные мосты, полный привод с раздаткой и демультипликатор. Заявленная глубина преодолеваемого брода — 760 мм. На выбор предложены три варианта исполнения: базовый 4xe, Sahara 4xe и даже «злой» Rubicon 4xe (с жесткими блокировками межколесных дифференциалов и отключаемым передним стабилизатором). Да и внешне гибридный Wrangler 4xe практически ничем не отличается от традиционных бензиновых и дизельных модификаций: его выдают лишь акценты синего цвета, шильдики с названием модификации и лючок зарядного разъема перед водительской дверью.

На американском рынке гибридный Jeep Wrangler 4xe появится уже в конце года, а в Европе и Китае начало продаж намечено на 2021 год. У нас внедорожник с подзаряжаемой силовой установкой вряд ли появится: на российском рынке Wrangler предлагается только с турбочетверкой 2.0 и расширение гаммы пока не планируется.

HYBRID MODE

The default mode, Hybrid, combines torque from both the 2.0L turbocharged engine and the electric motors. This combination provides maximum horsepower, instant torque and the best acceleration. Electric power is consumed first.

ELECTRIC MODE

When the battery has more than a 1% charge, it can run in Electric Mode. This allows for nearly zero tailpipe emissions up to highway speeds. The vehicle can run in this mode for up to 21 miles.

ESAVE MODE

eSave Mode prioritizes the 2.0L engine. This saves the battery charge for later use. When power demand is low, the engine shuts off. It can also be reconfigured to increase the battery charge as well.

REGENERATIVE BRAKING

This feature allows the battery to be charged when decelerating and braking. The Max Regeneration feature remaps the accelerator pedal to command more aggressive regen at low pedal positions. It allows you to slow the vehicle down without the brake pedal, but a complete stop always requires the brake pedal. It also stays selected until you turn it off.

RECHARGE

The battery can be fully recharged in approximately 2 hours using an available Level II charger (240V), or 12 hours using the included Level I charger (120V). With the ability to charge at home and work, you can enjoy the benefits of fully electric daily commutes.
