About Jeep cars

The Jeep name has become a byword for off-road ability thanks to strong military connections and decades of vehicle development.

Jeep currently offers three models in the UK, the Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and the smaller Renegade. Although these cars make very practical family vehicles, when the school run is over, they all excel off-road.

The Cherokee chassis is designed to absorb the aggressive ruts and ridges of off-roading which makes for slightly disconnected handling – unique styling and a strong Jeep character makes these foibles easier to forgive.

A large number of safety features and front-wheel drive options combine to make the new Renegade the most modern vehicle in the current Jeep range. It might be slightly less refined than rivals but it comes with the same appealing breadth of off-road abilities as its bigger brothers.
