Впервые слух о том, что два крупных игрока мирового автомобильного рынка – Fiat Chrysler Automobiles и PSA Group – намерены объединиться, появились в Сети в конце октября 2019-го. Чуть позже обе стороны официально подтвердили эти планы. В декабре того же года был подписан соответствующий меморандум о взаимопонимании, а летом 2020-го стало известно название будущего альянса – Stellantis. Как и было запланировано, в начале текущего месяца FCA и PSA провели встречу и добились согласия акционеров на сделку. Полностью процесс должен быть завершён 16 января.

В итоге новый объединённый концерн должен быть одним из крупнейших в мире: предполагается, что в его состав войдут 14 брендов: от PSA Group в список войдут Citroen, DS, Peugeot, Opel и Vauxhall, а от FCA – Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati и Ram. Правда, есть вероятность, что от части марок автогиганту всё-таки придётся избавиться. Так, в агентстве Associated Press считают, что одной из первых «под нож» попадёт Chrysler.

Отметим, продажи этого бренда на домашнем рынке постепенно снижаются с 2016 года. Так, в 2019-ом дилеры реализовали в США в общей сложности 126 971 машину марки, что на 23,5% меньше, чем годом ранее. По сути, сейчас компания продает только Pacifica, Voyager и 300 (кстати, не исключено, что первые две модели в итоге переименуют в Dodge Caravan и Grand Caravan, а третья исчезнет). Как сообщает Carscoops, показатели бренда заметно снизились после того, как из линейки ушёл Chrysler 200.

Однако в первую очередь новый автогигант, вероятно, займётся всё-таки не Крайслером, а существующими проблемами в Европе. Здесь в зоне риска находится Lancia: компания продаёт лишь одну, уже давно «немолодую» модель – Ypsilon. Результаты этого бренда на старосветском рынке в 2019 году составили 58 830 шт. (+21%), но даже такой ощутимый прирост, скорее всего, марку не спасёт.

Сейчас у FCA и PSA есть несколько заводов, производственные мощности которых недозагружены. Не исключено, что с целью сокращения издержек объединённому концерну придётся уволить часть персонала. Кроме того, вряд ли автогиганту Stellantis понадобится три действующих инжиниринговых центра – в Париже, Турине и Родельсхайме: скорее всего, от какого-то из них производителю придётся отказаться.

Ранее мы сообщали о том, что против слияния FCA и PSA выступил правнук основателя компании Chrysler Фрэнк Родс младший. Он заявил, что брендам Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep и Ram нужно вернуться «домой», в Штаты, а компании в целом – отдалиться от «иностранного контроля». Судя по всему, его предложение поддержки не нашло.

Напомним, изначально предполагалось, что в результате объединения французского и итало-американского концернов будет создан новый автогигант, который в итоге сможет занять четвёртое место в мире по объёму продаж новых машин и третье – по размеру выручки. То, на какой позиции окажется альянс в итоге, мы узнаем позже, ведь за последние несколько лет произошло немало событий, повлиявших на автомобильную отрасль.

I can’t believe how bad this place is. I have bought a new Jeep here and service is just terrible. Recall’s take forever then part are never in stock and expensive. 4x the cost of online. Wait time on hold just trying to get an appointment is ridiculous. It all takes the fun out of owning a Jeep. This is not a one time thing it’s been like this for over 2 years. I’m done

Avoid at all costs

Is there less than one star? Because this company deserves it. Dropped my 2019 Ram 1500 off to get looked at, less than 9k miles and is already having issues. After talking to the maintenance tech they told me they would have to order the part and would have it in 2-3 weeks. Okay, no issues. After coordinating with the maintenance team to conduct a late pick up I thought everything was good. I would pick the keys up at the sales office before they close. Great. Simple enough. Boy was I wrong. After 30 minutes of the sales staff frantically searching for my keys they informed me that the service team never dropped them off because I had an outstanding payment due to the service team. Apparently the service team had texted me and called me to inform me this. LIES! Also this is the first time I have ever brought my truck to this place (and the last). How do I owe money on something that is under warranty? And where are these phone calls and text messages. I wish I was part of them. Now I am paying out of pocket to uber to the north shore, just so I can Uber agin tomorrow to get my truck. $60 one way. The sales team go to response was the fact that sales and maintenance are separate. It’s the other guys fault and we don’t take responsibility. Way to throw you team under the bus dude. Zero responsibility take. Zero effort made to help me out. Zero compassion. Zero reason to ever do business with them again.

Crazy prices

128k for charger srt ?! Everyone else sells them for alot cheaper then that from 75 to 88k. This people wanna make alot more money from this car from what it really worth.

I bought a brand new Jeep from them. Turned out to be a lemon and they couldn’t care less. Meanwhile this $450 / month death trap has left me stranded multiple times. Once it stopped in the middle of driving. Luckily I wasn’t going fast. Never buy from these crooks!

Long story short, he spent close to 7 hours with us, catering to our every question with honesty and let us test drive whatever our hearts desired.
