Hummer возвращается после десятилетнего перерыва! Правда, теперь это не самостоятельная марка в структуре концерна General Motors, а лишь модель под брендом GMC. Но модель весьма необычная. С новым Хаммером GM попытается войти в перспективный сегмент электрических пикапов. А поскольку правила этого сегмента еще толком не установлены, разработчики попытались сделать GMC Hummer особенным.

С прежними Хаммерами новинку роднит нарочито брутальный дизайн. Расставленные по углам кузова колеса, прямоугольные колесные арки, выставленные напоказ массивные буксировочные проушины, почти вертикальное лобовое стекло… Передний бампер с отсеченными углами позволяет пикапу заехать на вертикальный уступ высотой 460 мм — лишь бы хватило сцепных свойств внедорожных шин Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT внешним диаметром 35 или 37 дюймов.

Новый Hummer представлен в формате четырехдверного пикапа с полноценным пятиместным салоном. Подобно моделям Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator, GMC Hummer можно превратить в кабриолет, сняв жесткие панели крыши. Они прячутся в просторном переднем багажнике, над передними седоками образуется единый широкий проем, а над вторым рядом останется продольная перемычка. Кроме того, можно опустить заднее стекло кабины. А задний борт MultiPro с откидной секцией имеет шесть разных положений.

Дизайн интерьера выполнен в квадратно-гнездовом стиле. Перед водителем — экран диагональю 12,3 дюйма для приборов, а медиасистема имеет тачскрин на 13,4 дюйма. Глыба центрального тоннеля между передними сиденьями искусственная — на самом деле пол в салоне ровный. Оснащение может быть богатым и включать кожаную обивку, электропривод передних сидений, мощную аудиосистему и многое другое.

GMC Hummer разработан на универсальной модульной платформе, у него независимая подвеска всех колес. Но главное — тяговый аккумулятор Ultium нового поколения, разработанный совместно с компанией LG Chem и имеющий низкое содержание дорогостоящего кобальта. Батарея состоит из 24 ячеек, однако емкость пока не названа. Снизу она защищена стальными листами, причем компоновка узлов позволяет штурмовать брод глубиной более 600 мм.

Вообще внедорожные способности Хаммера разработчики кратко описывают формулировкой «ultimate off-road EV supertruck». Опционная пневматическая подвеска с адаптивными амортизаторами позволяет регулировать дорожный просвет в диапазоне 149 мм. Полноуправляемое шасси по умолчанию позволяет улучшить маневренность (задние колеса поворачиваются в противоположную сторону с передними), но есть режим CrabWalk: все четыре колеса поворачиваются в одну сторону, и на низкой скорости пикап может двигаться «по диагонали» подобно крабу.

GMC Hummer может иметь до 18 камер кругового обзора. Причем две из них установлены под днищем (спереди и сзади) и позволяют оценивать рельеф преодолеваемых препятствий. У этих объективов есть прочная защита и омыватели. А для движения по асфальтовым трассам предусмотрен автопилот Super Cruise с функцией автоматической смены полосы движения.

Первой на рынок выйдет самая крутая и дорогая модификация GMC Hummer EV Edition One. Такой пикап имеет три электромотора (один спереди и два сзади) суммарной мощностью 1014 л.с., заявленный крутящий момент на колесах — 15590 Нм. На разгон до 60 миль в час (97 км/ч) электромобилю потребуется всего три секунды, пробег на одной зарядке — около 560 км. А вдобавок топ-версия имеет зарядное устройство, которое поддерживает напряжение до 800 вольт и мощность 350 кВт: всего за десять минут можно зарядить батарею для 160-километрового броска. Как водится, чем проще и дешевле модификация, тем дольше ее придется ждать. На осень 2022 года запланирован дебют версии Hummer EV 3 X ценой 100 тысяч долларов, у которой три электромотора выдают 811 л.с. и 12880 Нм (на колесах), а пробег на одной зарядке — 480 км. Двухмоторный Hummer EV 2X за 90 тысяч долларов выйдет весной 2023-го. Его характеристики — 634 л.с., 10033 Нм на колесах и те же 480 км пробега. Обе указанные версии имеют 800-вольтовый зарядник, но его мощность не указана.

Наконец, базовый Hummer EV 2 заявлен только на весну 2024 года. Его два мотора также выдают 634 л.с. и 10033 Нм на колесах, но дальность хода — только 400 км. Кроме того, базовый пикап лишен полноуправляемого шасси, имеет пружинную подвеску и 400-вольтовый зарядник. Объявленная цена — 80 тысяч долларов. General Motors уже открыл прием заказов на все четыре модификации Хаммера и собирает 100-долларовые возвратные депозиты.

Выпускать Хаммеры будут на американском заводе Detroit-Hamtramck. The reservation gets you one step closer to owning a HUMMER EV by securing your place in line to submit a vehicle purchase order. When we reach your place in line for your selected configuration, you will be contacted by your selected dealer to complete and submit your purchase order, which is expected to occur several months before your scheduled vehicle production date.

IS THE RESERVATION FEE REFUNDABLE?

Yes, your fee is refundable if you cancel your reservation prior to completing and submitting your purchase order. You may cancel your reservation by contacting your selected dealer or by calling 833-HUMMER-EV. After your cancellation request is approved, please allow up to 7 business days for refunds to be processed.

WHERE AM I IN LINE?

Reservations are stored sequentially in the order they were received. Your reservation will be fulfilled based on availability of your chosen configuration and vehicle production. GMC HUMMER EV Pickup production begins in Fall 2021 and SUV production begins early 2023. Vehicle production schedule is dependent upon numerous variables, including trim and option selections. Your selected GMC HUMMER EV dealer will contact you to provide delivery detail timing once your vehicle is ready to be built. Specific details regarding vehicle production timelines are not currently available at this time.

WHEN WILL I GET MY GMC HUMMER EV?

GMC expects HUMMER EV Pickup production to begin Fall 2021 and HUMMER EV SUV production will begin early 2023. When your vehicle is about to be produced you will place your purchase order with your selected dealer and receive approximate timing for delivery.

IF EDITION 1 RESERVATIONS ARE FULL, HOW DO I GET ON THE WAITLIST FOR EDITION 1?

To get on the Edition 1 waitlist, you will need to reserve another GMC HUMMER EV trim and check the “Edition 1 Waitlist” box on the Reservation Agreement step. You will then be contacted if/when an Edition 1 production slot becomes available.
