Others utilize a lighterweight multi-layer 23 or 24oz fabric which generally is more economical and works well for JK owners who do not use the vehicle as a daily driver.

Maybe you are out to change the look of your vehicle, and if so, frameless soft tops and ‘summer style’ tops are a great options. Frameless tops eliminate all hardware and instead utilize door surround channels and a rail system to help attach the top to your JK, while employing a popular sloping fastback look that definitely stands out. Summer style tops are ones that employ a bikini top, windbreaker, and tonneau cover to seal up the cabin — mainly for the summer months. This also is a great solution for those who have a hard top and wish to remove it for the summer.

Should you have a hardtop and want to switch over to a soft top, or have damaged or older soft top, you can choose from a variety of fabric tops these days such as Sailcloth, Twill, or multi-layer, and these new parts come inclusive with all the hardware needed to attach on your JK. You can also look to that frameless top option as well as you do not need to reuse any of the factory hardware.

2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL Accessories & Parts

Launching the Wrangler’s 4th generation in impressive style, the JL comes in both 2-door (JL) and 4-door (JLU) configurations, using a new frame with 96.8” and 118.4” wheelbases. The vehicle’s track has increased by 2.5” over the JK to 64.4”, while the fording depth is still 30”. Among the engine options is a sizzling new 2.0L turbocharged eTorque engine option developing 268 hp and 295 ft-lbs of torque – with a 3.0L EcoDiesel engine on the horizon for 2019, cranking out 260 hp and 442 ft-lbs. The fresh approach doesn’t end there – other options include a new 8-speed automatic transmission, while the Sky One-Touch power convertible top puts in its first appearance on a Jeep model. The JL offers your more power than the JK, a lightweight aluminum hard-top in place of the steel top, Goodyear Kevlar tires – plus completely new Dana axles, optimized electric axle lockers, and a Trak-Lok differential that work together to give a useful boost to crawl ratios.

The 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL takes a big leap forward into the future, and Extreme Terrain’s high quality aftermarket JL parts give you everything you need to customize your exciting new ride to match your off-roading style. Aftermarket bumpers are still a great choice as a mod to the JL, increasing the strength and thickness of the steel, providing fiercer styling, and offering extras like winch mounts, stingers, and extra winch mounts. With the license plate mount now integrated into the rear bumper, though, you may need to wait for purpose-built JL aftermarket rear bumpers or relocate the plate up to the spare tire, making aftermarket rear bumpers a little harder to add than on the JK. The JL is still very mod-friendly, and you can deck it out with off-road LED lighting for those adventures under the desert stars, 35” tires, high quality lift kits to give it even more ground clearance and articulation, body armor, fender flares, and rock sliders or side steps to personalize it for your taste and needs.
