About
3 Guys 1 Hammer is a viral shock video involving three young adults murdering a middle-aged man they held captive by primarily bludgeoning his face with a hammer. The murderers, dubbed the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs, were three Viktor Sayenko, Igor Suprunyuk and Alexander Hanzha killed 21 people in Ukraine in 2007. The title is a pun on another infamous shock video: 2 Girls 1 Cup.
Origin
The perpetrators in the video have been dubbed as the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs. The trio are serial killers who are guilty of at least 20 murders. Run the Gauntlet, [4] a shock site that gets progressively gorier as the user chooses, is the first link to appear when searched on Google. Although the video in Run the Gauntlet is watermarked to the gore news site, Best Gore.
The victim in this video was identified as Sergei Yatzenko, a 48-year-old male who had recently been forced into retirement due to a cancerous tumor in his throat.
Description and Transcription
The video starts off with 2 men in the woods, one trapped under what seems to be debris. Abruptly, the young man standing over the victim attacks with a hammer concealed in a plastic bag, effectively turning the victim’s face into a bloody pulp. After several seconds of close-ups of what used to be a face and a few discomforting gurgles, a screwdriver is skewered and twisted into the victim’s stomach by the cameraman, then into the dying person’s left eye. The victim was finished off by two large arcing blows to the head with the hammer for the final time. The assailants then promptly run out of the woods and head nearby their car, where they wash off the blood. [7]
English translation of what the killers are saying:
«Hold on, hold on. Be neater, f***,» likely saying that to watch out for the blood.
Laughing
«Hold on, hold on, hold on, don’t hit him, don’t hit him. Watch him…» the rest of the sentence is indistinct, but he’s likely telling the guy to watch for the blood as he’s zooming in to capture the close up
